Agricultural Product Lists and Prices

The following list shows some of the basic agricultural and fishery products that can be found on Hârn and Northwestern Lýthia. The prices are based on these items being produced during an average growing season with average weather conditions and harvest. These prices can vary greatly due to adverse weather, disease, war, etc.

The prices depicted, with few exceptions, are the retail price for purchasing these goods in the local market or directly from the producer. When purchased by a wholesaler, such as a merchant, the cost will be much lower to reflect the nature of the business. When selling to a wholesaler the producer is saved the cost of transportation to market and the manhours involved in packing, moving, unpacking, and selling the product being sold; thus making the reduced price more agreeable. In addition, if the wholesaler needs to have the goods transported by the producer he can make additional monies by charging for the service. Some lords may exchange surplus for needed materials of the same value from other manors, thus cutting out the middleman and saving themselves some money also.
