The Mercantyler's Guild

Craftguild Product Lists and Prices

The following list shows some of the basic items produced by the guilds. The prices are based on these items being the most basic sort and of average quality. However, there are a number of items in the list that the guilds on Hârn do not produce because they do not have the knowledge. One such item is silk which comes from the far east. Other item that craftsmen in your version of Hârn may not have are the making of large plates of armor, the estoc, or the crossbow. This does not mean these items are not produced on the mainland however.

The price depicted, with few exceptions, is the retail price for purchasing that item which was produced by a local craftsman. In the case of items not made locally the price should be higher to reflect the costs of transportation and profit on the part of the individual who brought the item to market. In the case of an item like silk, which is not produced on Hârn, the listed price can be assumed to be that charged in the port city of Cherafir. The cost for silk in another location should be higher for the reasons stated earlier. I will address this in another section of this site.
